Dana White disputes the concept Francis Ngannou made extra money in boxing than he would have within the UFC.

Over the previous few years, one of many greatest tales in fight sports activities has been Ngannou’s departure from the UFC to maneuver to the PFL and pursue boxing. Although Ngannou had many causes for leaving the promotion, one of many greatest was his declare that he would make more cash in boxing than he would with the UFC.

However Dana White refutes this declare.

On Tuesday, the UFC CEO spoke with Kevin Iole the place he unloaded on the notion that Ngannou made extra in boxing than within the UFC, saying that the concept of cash in boxing is “a fable.”

“That’s not essentially true,” White mentioned. “That’s the bullshit publicly that folks imagine, however that’s not the reality. Complete bullshit. Complete bullshit.

“That’s that entire fable that makes all people go, ‘Oh, let’s f*cking go to boxing!’ and all this bullshit. Boxing don’t work. Boxing doesn’t work. What makes it work? You want a Saudi f*cking trillionaire to make f*cking fights. And even Saudi trillionaires get bored with the f*cking bullshit. It’s all a f*cking fable. It’s all a fable.

“Like the entire assertion you simply made is totally positively not true. It’s these varieties of f*cking statements and people sort of quotes by the media that makes all this shit. All these fights are taking place, it takes a Saudi f*cking trillionaire. Each f*cking man that tries to do the boxing factor, all of them find yourself dropping shit-loads of f*cking cash. The mannequin doesn’t work. A Saudi limitless amount of cash pops up and that’s what makes these fights occur, and even guys with that form of cash get f*cking bored with the bullshit.”

Over the previous few years, Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the Common Leisure Authority of Saudi Arabia, has invested closely in boxing, together with bankrolling Ngannou’s boxing matches towards Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua which reportedly netted Ngannou $30 million between the 2 fights. That’s a substantial sum greater than the $8 million Ngannou claimed the UFC provided him to struggle Jon Jones, however when talking with reporters following the newest episode of Contender Sequence, White reiterated his denial.

“I do know all of the shit that you simply individuals don’t know, and I don’t care what all people says,” White advised reporters. “It doesn’t matter to me. However that’s a reality. He was provided extra money, as a result of I do know the true numbers.”

Ngannou makes his long-awaited return to MMA later this month when he faces PFL heavyweight champion Renan Ferreira at PFL: Battle of the Giants which takes place on Oct. 19 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
