Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott just lately did some harm management after followers have been alarmed by a circulating photograph of him in a strolling boot.

Prescott was seen carrying a cumbersome protecting boot on his proper foot whereas strolling alongside a harbor in Los Cabos, Mexico (photograph right here). A report from NFL Community’s Ian Rapoport later recognized Prescott’s harm as a “very minor foot sprain.”

On Thursday, Prescott downplayed the foot subject even additional in his feedback to Clarence Hill of the Fort Value Star-Telegram. The 30-year-old QB defined that the protecting boot was merely precautionary whereas he went deep sea fishing.

“I’m nice. … The final time I went deep sea fishing my [ankle] swole up… similar ankle, similar points,” Prescott advised Hill by way of textual content.

Prescott underwent surgical procedure to restore a compound fracture dislocation of his proper ankle again in 2020. The harm pressured Prescott to overlook the ultimate 11 video games of the 2020 season.

Prescott was in a position to return by Week 1 of the next season. He solely missed one sport through the 2021 marketing campaign attributable to a calf pressure.

Final season, Prescott performed in all 17 regular-season video games for the Cowboys. The three-time Professional Bowler tallied an NFL-best 36 passing touchdowns and completed second in MVP voting behind Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson.
