Combate Global is set to make history on March 13, 2025, with its inaugural all-female event, “Combate Female,” celebrating Women’s Month and showcasing the prowess of female fighters in mixed martial arts (MMA). Main Event: Maritza Sanchez vs. Kate Bacik (130 lbs. Catchweight)

Headlining the card is a 130-pound catchweight bout between Maritza Sanchez and Kate “Queen of the South” Bacik. Sanchez, a 27-year-old fighter from Placerville, California, and a member of Team Alpha Male, enters the fight on a six-fight winning streak, showcasing her knockout power since February 2020. Bacik, representing London, England, is a 31-year-old former amateur standout from the Great Britain Top Team, aiming to rebound from a recent loss that ended her five-fight winning streak.

Co-Main Event: Janet Garcia vs. Nicole Geraldo (105 lbs. Atomweight)

The co-main event features a clash between two Mexican fighters in the atomweight division. Janet Garcia (3-0), a veteran of numerous Muay Thai bouts, has transitioned seamlessly into MMA, maintaining an unblemished record. She faces Nicole Geraldo, who brings a wealth of experience and aims to hand Garcia her first professional loss.

Kenia Enriquez vs. Hayley Valentine (115 lbs. Strawweight): Three-time boxing champion Kenia Enriquez from Mexico makes her MMA debut against Britain’s undefeated Hayley Valentine, adding intrigue as Enriquez transitions disciplines.

Yazmín Nájera vs. Wiktoria Wojciechowska (125 lbs. Flyweight): Mexico City’s Yazmín Nájera squares off against Poland’s Wiktoria Wojciechowska (3-2) in a flyweight bout, promising an exciting international showdown.

Sayury Canon vs. Nicdali Rivera-Calanoc (115 lbs. Strawweight): Colombia’s Sayury Canon takes on American veteran Nicdali Rivera-Calanoc in a strawweight contest, blending emerging talent with seasoned experience.

Sharon Martinez vs. Claudia Pizarro (115 lbs. Strawweight): Nicaragua’s Sharon Martinez and Chile’s Claudia Pizarro open the historic event with a strawweight bout, setting the tone for an evening dedicated to women’s MMA.
