No one does limited-edition anything better than COBRA.

No one.

There, I said it, and I stand by it.

In the past month alone, COBRA has given us two jaw-dropping limited-edition drivers plus a seriously cool headcover collection with plenty of bite. You knew, you just knew, COBRA would be doing something cool next week’s showdown in Augusta.

Once again, COBRA does not disappoint.

Seriously, check out the 2025 Season Opener limited-edition DS-ADAPT driver and tell me I’m wrong.

Sweet leapin’ Moses…

Can it be just 31 days ago that COBRA released its first 2025 limited-edition driver? Why, yes, yes it can. That was the COBRA x Arnold Palmer driver, launched to celebrate Arnie and the Bay Hill Invitational. Just a week later, we got the island-infused Palm Tree Crew Limited Edition driver. Just before the Players Championship, COBRA snuck in the Gator Drip headcover collection.

I don’t care who you are, that’s the Murderer’s Row of limited editions. All it needs is a clean-up hitter.

That, my friends, is what we’re getting today. The COBRA Season Opener limited-edition drivers are the latest in this year’s line of Augusta-themed collectibles. As a limited-edition offering, it may very well be COBRA’s best.

Seriously, COBRA hit this one so far out of the park, the USGA will be checking it for a corked bat or PEDs.

For the Season Opener limited-edition driver, COBRA goes with a retro “postcards-from-Georgia” look. Thankfully, COBRA doesn’t overdo the all-too-easily overdone azaleas or smack you upside the head with Masters green, white and yellow. There is, in fact, no yellow other than a few daffodils. The slight hint of azaleas is balanced nicely by other flora and fauna on the sole and headcover. Moreover, the green and white is contrasted very nicely by a lovely shade of Georgia peach.

The carbon-fiber crown features a white frame reminiscent of TaylorMade’s M-series drivers. That white frame stretches to the sole, where there’s only a modest nod to Augusta where a postcard-like script reads: The garden city of the south.

COBRA limited-edition Season Opener: Three drivers

As with its other limited-edition drivers, COBRA is offering the Season Opener in three of its 2025 DS-ADAPT models. The DS-ADAPT LS is a 445cc low-spin model while the DS-ADAPT MAX 10K is the 460cc high-MOI model with a combined heel-toe and high-low MOI above 10,000. The DS-ADAPT X, also 460cc, is what you’d consider COBRA’s “standard” model with balanced front-back weighting. It’s designed to fit the widest range of golfers.

All three drivers feature COBRA’s new FUTUREFIT33 adjustable hosel system. As the name suggests, FUTUREFIT33 offers 33 different loft, lie and face angle settings to allow fitters to more accurately dial in launch conditions for a golfer.

COBRA Season Opener limited-edition drivers: Price and availability

All three COBRA Season Opener limited-edition drivers feature a special-edition True Temper HZRDUS Black shaft with floral “springtime in Georgia” postcard graphics. To complete the package, COBRA is including a sweet white, green and peach headcover with a floral, postcard-style “Greetings from COBRA” on the front and a Georgia peach on the back.

The COBRA Season Opener limited-edition drivers are available starting today at select retailers and online. As with COBRA’s other limited-edition drivers, they’ll sell for $649.

For more information, visit the COBRA website.
