Which Seattle Seahawks regular season game are you looking forward to the most?

The Kansas City Chiefs have signed free-agent veteran offensive guard Tremayne Anchrum, according to the league’s official Friday transactions report.

Anchrum, 26, first entered the league out of Clemson as a seventh-round pick made by the Los Angeles Rams during the 2020 NFL Draft.

A tackle in college, the 6-foot-2, 314-pound lineman transitioned to the guard position with the Rams, appearing in 31 games but making his one and only career start in 2022. However, that start only lasted two snaps, as Anchrum fractured his fibula. During the four seasons in Los Angeles, Anchrum compiled a total of 101 snaps on offense and 133 snaps on special teams.

In 2024, Anchrum had preseason stops in Seattle and New Orleans before ultimately landing on the Houston Texans’ practice squad. Anchrum never appeared in a game for Houston.

Kansas City has a vacancy at its left guard position, but it’s likely Anchrum will be competing for a depth role. He owns a Super Bowl ring as a member of the Rams’ 2021 roster.

The Chiefs made two other roster moves on Thursday.
