Chelsea are interested in signing Jules Kounde from Barcelona in the summer transfer window, according to TBR. The report has claimed that Kounde has fallen out with his Barcelona boss Hansi Flick, and this has alerted the Chelsea chiefs.
The report has noted that Chelsea are not the only club who are keen on a deal for Kounde. Liverpool and Manchester City are also reported to be interested in the defender and are monitoring his situation should he decide to leave Barcelona at the end of the season.
Barcelona as a club do not want to sell Kounde and are trying to convince the 26-year-old, who can operate as a right-back or centre-back, to put pen to paper on a new deal. The Blaugrana are at the top of the La Liga table at the moment with 51 points from 24 matches, level on points with second-placed and defending champions Real Madrid and a point ahead of third-placed Atletico Madrid.
