Chelsea have no intention of parting ways with either Enzo Fernandez or Moises Caicedo this summer, according to Sky Sports. Their two most expensive signings ever are therefore likely to remain at Stamford Bridge for the 2025/26 season, with their contracts running until 2032 and 2031, respectively.
Fernandez, who joined Chelsea from Benfica for around €120 million in January 2023, is a long-term target for Real Madrid, as Los Blancos seek to revamp their squad after a disappointing and probably trophyless season.
Caicedo arrived to the club from Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer of the same year, after a long battle with Liverpool for his signature which forced Chelsea to pay closer to €130 million to get the transfer done. He is believed to be a target for unnamed Saudi clubs.
Nonetheless, Chelsea are now focusing on finishing the season in one of the five Premier League spots which warrant a place in the Champions League, and they have no desire to weaken their squad as they make plans for a campaign in UEFA’s strongest club competition. Furthermore, they aim to add a striker, a winger and a centre-back to their ranks.
