Chelsea are unlikely to bid for Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane, according to The Telegraph. While Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca wants to sign more experienced players, the Blues are unlikely to make a move for former Tottenham Hotspur star Kane.
The report has noted that although Kane has a release clause in his contract at German giants Bayern, ‘the figures it would take to sign him in terms of fee and wages are believed to be highly prohibitive’. The England international striker has been on the books of Bayern since the summer of 2023 when he joined from Tottenham and has been a huge success at the Bavarian giants.
Kane has scored 80 goals and given 24 assists in 89 appearances for Bayern so far in his career. The 31-year-old English striker has scored 36 goals and provided 12 assists in 44 matches in all competitions for Vincent Kompany’s side this season. Bayern are on the verge of winning the Bundesliga title.
