Quarterback is going to dominate the offseason conversation around the Jets because it always does, and because they have a question mark at the position after letting Aaron Rodgers walk.
We’ll discuss and dissect the options at the position until the Jets reveal their plan. But quarterback is not the only hole on this roster. This is a team in transition.
The Jets have 23 players who will be unrestricted free agents next week, and they already cut loose wide receiver Davante Adams, who is now a free agent. Of those 24 players, 12 of them were either starters or major contributors in 2024.
New general manager Darren Mougey and head coach Aaron Glenn will be looking to put their stamp on the team. It is typical when there are new bosses in charge for there to be a high amount of roster turnover. That is the expectation this offseason.
