The Celtics have announced their full Summer League roster, and it includes 14 players, including three members of the Celtics’ 15-man roster, and three presumptive two-way players.

Baylor Scheierman and Jordan Walsh will both return from last year’s Summer League roster, and they’ll be joined by this year’s first-round pick, Hugo Gonzalez.

In addition, the team’s two second-round draft picks Amari Williams and Max Shulga will lace up in Las Vegas.

Other notable names from the roster include guard Hayden Gray, who led the NCAA in steals last year, and Kenneth Lofton Jr, who has bounced around the league and most recently won MVP of the Chinese Basketball Association. Jalen Bridges, who was on a two-way contract with the Phoenix Suns last year, will also be on the roster.

Over the past couple of years, intrigue around Summer League has been relatively limited, with the team contending for a championship. In previous seasons, the Celtics’ Summer League players were unlikely to crack the team’s rotation in the coming year.

But this year is different, with the Celtics expected to have a greater focus on player development with Jayson Tatum sidelined for most, if not all, of the season with an Achilles rupture.

With Jrue Holiday, Kristaps Porzingis, and Luke Kornet all gone from last year’s roster, the Celtics will be looking to replace significant manpower. Scheierman, Walsh, Gonzalez, and others all have a realistic chance to crack the team’s rotation.

Celtics Summer League Roster

In full, the Celtics Summer League Roster includes the following players:

Jordan Walsh (drafted 38th in 2023, entering his third season)

Baylor Scheierman (drafted 30th in 2024, entering sophomore season)

Hugo Gonzalez (Real Madrid forward, drafted 28th in 2025)

Miles Norris (two-way player, signed last year)

Amari Williams (Kentucky center, drafted 46th in 2025)

Max Shulga (VCU guard, drafted 57th in 2025)

Hayden Gray (UC San Diego guard, undrafted rookie)

Kenneth Lofton Jr (Louisiana Tech forward, undrafted third-year player)
Aaron Scott (St. John guard Aaron Scott, undrafted rookie)
Ben Gregg (Gonzaga forward Ben Gregg, undrafted rookie)
Zach Hicks (Penn State forward, undrafted rookie)
Jalen Bridges (Baylor forward, played for the Phoenix Suns on a two-way contract last year)
Kendall Brown (Baylor forward, drafted 48th in 2022)
Isaiah Wong (Miami guard, drafted 55th in 2023)

The team will be coached by longtime Celtics assistant Matt Reynolds, who first joined the franchise as an assistant video coordinator in 2015.

Assuming that Shulga and Williams both sign two-way contracts with the Celtics, there likely aren’t two-way opportunities for the remaining players on the Summer League roster. But several will likely join the Maine Celtics, Boston’s G League affiliate.

Celtics Summer League Schedule

The Celtics will tip off at Summer League action in Las Vegas on July 11th.

July 11: Celtics vs. Grizzlies, 4 p.m. ET
July 13: Celtics vs. Knicks, 5:30 p.m. ET
July 14: Celtics vs. Heat, 8 p.m. ET
July 17: Celtics vs. Lakers, 9 p.m. ET
Game 5 TBD: Celtics vs. TBD
