LAS VEGAS – Caio Borralho is finished predicting UFC middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis’ fights.

Borralho (17-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC) wonders how Du Plessis (22-2 MMA, 8-0 UFC) continues to prevail, beforehand saying “it’s loopy how unhealthy he’s.” Du Plessis just lately submitted Israel Adesanya to retain his title at UFC 305.

Sean Strickland (29-6 MMA, 16-6 UFC) is touted to probably be Du Plessis’ subsequent title challenger, and if the pair run issues again, Borralho is choosing Strickland to win.

Or is he?

“I obtained Strickland successful this struggle, possibly, as a result of I believe Strickland received the final one, however possibly he left a little bit bit contained in the octagon that he might do some bit extra,” Borralho instructed reporters, together with MMA Junkie, after UFC on ESPN 62. “However MMA is loopy. I at all times wager in opposition to Dricus, and he at all times wins, so I’m not betting on the following one. Let these guys kill themselves and I’m the following one.”

Borralho emerged as a high middleweight contender after outslugging former title challenger Jared Cannonier in Saturday’s UFC on ESPN 62 fundamental occasion on the UFC Apex.

He thinks he’s earned a title shot however is prepared to tackle any top-ranked middleweight to cement himself as No. 1 contender.

“I need a title shot, that’s for certain, however I’m an organization man,” Borralho stated. “Whoever Hunter (Campbell) and Dana (White) ship me to struggle. In the event that they’re individuals above me or one thing like that, just like the struggle that I deserve, the struggle that’s going to place me much more near the belt, I’m going to take it, as a result of I’m the corporate man.”
