The Milwaukee Bucks shot 68.9% from the field during their 133-123 win over the Phoenix Suns, the highest field goal percentage since 1998.
The Bucks shot 51-of-74 from the field.
“I kept saying to my teammates, ‘We’re fighting for our lives. We’re fighting for our lives,'” said Giannis Antetokounmpo. “They think I’m joking, but I’m not joking. We’re fighting for our lives right here. Every win counts.”
Antetokounmpo finished the game with 37 points and 11 assists.
All eight players who played for the Bucks shot higher than 50% from the field.
The Bucks also went 17-of-29 from three.
“We’re so close to being an incredible offensive team,” added Doc Rivers. “We shoot 70% the first half the other night. We shot 68.9 tonight. If we can rebound the ball and take care of the ball, we’ve got a chance to break out and make a hell of a run here.”
