Bradley Beal will not waive his no-trade clause for a trade to the Chicago Bulls, a source tell The Athletic. The Bulls have reportedly held some level of dialogue with the Phoenix Suns on a trade for Beal as part of a larger Jimmy Butler deal.
Beal would reportedly waive his no-trade clause if presented with the right opportunity. Beal prioritizes a winning team, but cold-weather cities are less attractive to him. Beal moved his wife and two sons full time to Phoenix before the current season.
Beal has $160 million remaining on his contract over the next three years (including this season). Beal also has a no-trade clause he doesn’t plan to give up as a condition of a trade.
