Presenting the elegant geometries and thin toplines that the brand is famous for on the outside, the Legend Irons are packed with game-enhancing technology ‘under the hood’ that will enable golfers of all standards to raise their game.
Chief among the game-changing features is Hogan’s first hollow bodied, foam filled head, which Hogan’s design team created in order to redistribute discretionary mass, maximise stability and optimise launch conditions for each and every iron.
What does that mean for golfers? Hit it out of the centre of the clubface, and the ball flies as you’d want it to – far and straight. But fail to find the sweet spot and you will barely notice the difference, as the Legend irons’ enlarged Effective Hitting Area across the clubface significantly reduces the effect of those damaging mishits.
This has been achieved by using a high-performance foam injected at a specific mass and density for each club to
improve acoustics and feel.
To further enhance playability and make it easier to make clean contact from a variety of lies, the Legend irons feature Hogan’s trademark V-SOLE design, which sports a high-bounce leading edge and soft, lower-bounce trailing edge.
Regardless of the length or thickness of the grass, this V-shaped sole cuts right through as if you were hitting from the heart of the fairway. It’s simply the most versatile sole in golf, shaped to be forgiving and prevent digging.
