Barcelona are interested in signing Luis Diaz from Liverpool in the summer transfer window, according to Sport. The report in the Spanish publication has claimed that Diaz himself would be delighted to make the switch to the La Liga outfit, which has been described as his “dream” club.

While Barcelona would love to sign former Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak from Newcastle United in the summer transfer window, the Spanish club appreciate that the overall outlay would be beyond them. Diaz would be a more affordable signing for the European powerhouse.

Diaz has done well for Liverpool over the years and has established himself as an important player in the team. The Colombia international winger has scored 37 goals and given 18 assists in 139 matches in all competitions for the Merseyside outfit. While Liverpool are aiming to become the Premier League champions this season, Barcelona are looking to win La Liga.
