The batters will have to take the responsibility if the visitors want to increase their chances of winning the first-ever series in Sri Lanka.
If we talk about the individual performances of both batters in the two matches they have played so far, it has been a mixed bag, with Emon getting a fifty in the first match but failing in the second.
Tanzid, on the other hand, is yet to make a significant contribution in the series and will look to do so in the final match.
The duo also opened the batting for Bangladesh in the three ODIs that preceded the T20I series and in the first T20I as well.
Middle-order batsmen and all-rounders: Litton Das (c and wk), Towhid Hridoy, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Shamim Hossain, Jaker Ali
The opening pair will be followed by a middle order which showed signs of form in he last match and guided the team to an above par total after losing early wickets.
The comeback was initiated by the captain Litton Das, who was under a tremendous amount of pressure before the second T20I.
The captain scored an attacking half-century and formed a valuable partnership with Shamim Hossaun, who delivered an all-round performance to help the team register a much-needed win.
Shamim fell just short of an impressive fifty but was one of the reasons why the visitors were able to post a total of 177 runs on the board, which proved to be enough for the team to level the series.
Other than Das and Hossain, it was Trowhid Hridoy who played a crucial innings of 31 runs and gave impetus to the team in the middle overs.
The Bangla team management would want their batters to replicate the form that they showed in the second game of the series in the upcoming match as well.
Bowlers: Mohammad Saifuddin, Rishad Hossain, Shoriful Islam, Mustafizur Rahman
The Bangladeshi bowling attack carried on the good work done by the batters and bowled Sri Lanka out for 94 runs, guiding the team to an emphatic win.
It was a combined effort in the bowling department, with fast bowlers and spinners chipping in at crucial moments in the game.
Having said that, it was the fast bowler who paved the way for a famous victory by picking up wickets in the first six overs.
The trio of Shoriful, Mustafizur, and Sifuddin picked up five of the team Sri Lanka’s wickets and broke the back of the team’s batting lineup.
The visitors are expected to retain the same bowling combination for the third and final game of the series.
