Toss Bangladesh selected to bat vs South Africa

Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto determined to bat in opposition to South Africa within the first Check, in hazy Dhaka on Monday.

For the hosts, batter Jaker Ali can be making his Check debut, changing Shakib Al Hasan. The allrounder was unable to make it to Dhaka whereas touring from New York earlier this week and needed to make himself unavailable in what was purported to be his farewell Check.

Each groups have 4 frontline bowlers with Bangladesh going with spinners Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Nayeem Hasan, Taijul Islam and a lone tempo bowler in Hasan Mahmud. South Africa have picked two spinners in Keshav Maharaj and Dane Piedt, and two quick bowlers in Kagiso Rabada and Wiaan Mulder.

Bangladesh are coming off a 2-0 loss in opposition to India in India whereas South Africa beat West Indies 1-0 away in a two-Check sequence.
