Alcaraz Back to No.2, with a Long Journey to Top
Alcaraz has moved ahead of Alexander Zverev with his title at Monte-Carlo, but he’s still more than 2,000 points behind Jannik Sinner, who has held the No.1 ranking for the last 45 weeks. Meanwhile, Alex de Minaur is up three spots to No.7 while Daniil Medvedev returns to the Top 10 at No.9.
Fils Career-High Again
Three Masters quarterfinals have helped propel rising Frenchman Arthur Fils to another career-high at No.14. Of the six players aged 20 and under inside the ATP’s Top 100, Fils is the highest-ranked and the only one inside the Top-20.
Musetti Closing in on Top 10
Musetti reached his first Masters 1000 final and jumps to the cusp of the Top 10 as a result. He’s up five spots to a career-high No.11.
Tsitsipas Drops to No.16
You have to go back to October of 201 to find the last time Stefanos Tsitsipas was outside of the Top 15. He’s there again today, after dropping eight spots due to the fact that he lost Monte-Carlo champion points last week.
Davidovich Fokina Returns to Top-30
It’s been a solid year for Spain’s Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. “Foki,” who is 18-9 on the season, rises 12 spots to No.30 thanks to his trip to the Monte-Carlo semifinals. The former World No.21 already has trips to two finals – Delray Beach and Acapulco – to his name this year.
