Arsenal are determined to sign Viktor Gyokeres in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has revealed that the Gunners are ready to pay €80 million to Sporting CP to bring the striker to the Emirates Stadium.
Gyokeres has been at Sporting CP since the summer of 2023 when he moved from Coventry City. The Sweden international striker has scored 48 goals and given 12 assists in 47 appearances so far this season and scored 43 goals and provided 15 assists in 50 matches in all competitions in the 2023-24 campaign.
Arsenal are very unlikely to win the Premier League title this season, with Liverpool needing just a point to become the champions of England. The Gunners, though, have reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League where they will face French powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain. Meanwhile, Sporting CP currently find themselves at the top of the Portuguese Primeira Liga table at the moment with 72 points from 30 matches, level on points with second-placed Benfica.
