Arsenal are interested in signing Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer transfer window, according to TBR. The report has claimed that the Gunners have been in contact with the Germany international forward’s camp over a move at the end of the season.
The North London club are not the only Premier League team who are keen on a deal for Wirtz, though. Liverpool and Manchester City are also reported to be in contact with the playmaker’s camp over a deal. Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are also showing a keen interest in the 21-year-old, while Bayer themselves are hopeful that the youngster will sign a new contract.
Arsenal are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 53 points from 25 matches, seven points behind leaders Liverpool. Meanwhile, Bayer currently find themselves second in the Bundesliga table with 47 points from 22 games, eight points behind leaders Bayern Munich.
