Ariel Hukporti has suffered a torn meniscus in his left knee and is expected to miss 4-to-6 weeks. Hukporti suffered the injury in Wednesday’s win by the New York Knicks over the Philadelphia 76ers when he started his first game of the season.
Hukporti has appeared in 25 games this season with the Knicks, averaging 1.9 points and 2.0 rebounds in 8.7 minutes. The Knicks could get Mitchell Robinson back in the coming day to help bolster their center depth.
The Knicks hold a team option on Hukporti for the 25-26 season.
