Alijah Arenas is out of an induced coma after being involved in a car accident, according to ESPN.
Arenas was involved in the accident on Thursday morning, with initial testing showing no broken bones.
The 18-year-old remains intubated but has “shown significant signs of progress within the last 24 hours,” according to his family.
No cause for the accident has been released.
Arenas, who is the son of Gilbert Arenas, is a five-star prospect and committed to USC after becoming a McDonald’s All-American at Chatsworth High School.
