PALM BEACH, Fla. — Aaron Glenn is facing what might feel like the latest chapter of Mission Impossible.
How do you change a Jets culture that has resulted in 14 straight playoff-less seasons and nine straight losing ones? How do you turn the Jets from losers to winners?
“If he can’t, nobody can,” Lions coach Dan Campbell said Tuesday. “That’s my opinion.”
Campbell is not alone in his belief in the new Jets coach. That is why the Jets picked him out of the large cast of coaches they interviewed in January. The Jets wanted a leader. They were not worried about X’s and O’s or who would win the news conference. They brought Glenn in to reshape the organization.
