Competition: Scottish Championship

Market: Livingston win

Odds: 7/10 @ 1xBet

Looking to extend on their promotion charge on Wednesday night, Livingston will welcome Raith to the Almondvale Stadium.

Starting with the hosts, while Livingston might have lost their Premiership status last season, the Lions are sat firmly in the driving seat to punch an immediate top-flight return in 2025. Although David Martindale’s side might have found themselves in the midst of a three-match losing run on either side of opening the New Year, they have come roaring back in some style. Unbeaten in all of their previous 10 appearances across all competitions, Livingston open Wednesday’s showdown sat just one-point adrift of climbing to the top of the Championship table. Likewise, last seen at the Almondvale Stadium collecting an action-packed 3-2 victory against Morton, the midweek hosts have collected 10 points from their previous four Championship battles in front of their own supporters. Extending on their Scottish Cup adventure on February 8th as they cruised their way to a 3-0 win against Cove Rangers, Martindale’s men should be smelling a real opportunity here.

As for the visitors, although Raith might have opened up the 2024/25 campaign with their sights set on mounting another promotion charge, the Rovers have drastically struggled to find any kind of stability this time around. Putting in what was a nightmare performance last weekend as they slumped to a 4-0 drumming at home against Queen’s Park, Barry Robson’s side almost find themselves sat in Championship limbo. Watching their Scottish Cup campaign come to an end on February 8th as they fell to a 5-0 loss against Scottish giants Celtic, Raith have lost four of their previous six appearances across all competitions. Likewise, getting the New Year underway with a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Ayr, Wednesday’s guests have also shown some glaring issues on the road. In fact, the former Aberdeen boss has seen his squad lose each of their last three consecutive matchups away from Stark’s Park by an aggregate score of 9-1.

Bet: Livingston 7/10 to beat Raith in Wednesday’s Scottish Championship matchup @ 1xBet
