The Netflix series “Full Swing” wowed the golf public for the umpteenth time, after the release of its third season. One of the main actors of the new season is Scottie Scheffler, the man who knocked golf fans off their feet after an extraordinary last season. One of the actors in this story is his caddy, Ted Scott.

In one of the episodes, the well-known caddy explained how the cooperation between him and Scheffler began.

Namely, Ted Scott collaborated with Bubba Watson for years, and after the break of collaboration, he was interested in a new engagement.

Although Ted was not particularly open to the option of cooperation at the beginning due to Scheffler’s character, the 28-year-old then admitted that he was ready to change.

“I think Bubba and I had spent so much time together, we really weren’t growing anymore. So I was like, ‘I kind of just want to move on and do something else.’ Basically, a friend of mine approached me and said, ‘You’re about to receive a phone call from a really good player. This guy is really good. Like really good.’ I had never really met Scottie other than that we played with him in the New Orleans tournament and I saw that he was kind of fiesty, you know? That was one of the questions that I asked him when he called me.

I said, ‘I don’t know if I want to work for you because of your attitude.’ When I posed that question to him, he said, ‘That’s a fair question and I’m willing to work on it.’ All I need is a little bit of hope and I’m willing to get behind anybody. So I decided to take the job and here we are.”- Scott said, as quoted by Golf!

Scottie understood he had to change his behavior

Scottie Scheffler also admitted that his behavior on the golf course was not quite commendable, as his frustrations and outbursts were frequent. The young golfer knew he had to change something, and an important link in that path was his caddie.

He realized it was time for a new chapter.

Their collaboration has proven to be truly fruitful, given the results the duo has achieved working together. Last season is truly a story that will be told for years to come.
