Wimbledon Tennis 2025: Draws and Schedule for Monday, June 30th

Novak Djokovic’s career has been full of incredible triumphs, which have allowed him to become one of the best athletes of all time. When he won the gold medal at the Paris Olympics in the summer of 2024, the whole world had to bow down to the Serbian legend who played a crazy tournament and defeated Carlos Alcaraz in the final on red clay.

Despite being almost 38 years old and having won everything a tennis player can dream of, Nole wants to continue competing against opponents much younger than him and is able to always set new goals to stay motivated.

The former world No.1 no longer has the same consistency as a few years ago, but he is still able to make a difference in the tournaments that matter most. He also proved it at the 2025 Australian Open, in which he beat Carlitos Alcaraz in the quarterfinals thanks to a near-perfect performance on the iconic Rod Laver Arena.

His dream is to win the 25th Major of his glorious career by the end of 2025 and it is an achievable goal if he plays at the same level shown at Melbourne Park.

Meanwhile, the 37-year-old from Belgrade was named Serbian athlete of the year by the Association of Serbian Journalists.

Novak was not present to collect the award, which was taken by his father Srdjan who also gave a speech.

“I am Nole’s father and I am proud to be the father of the best athlete of all time, I am not afraid to say it.

He didn’t have an easy childhood between sanctions and bombings, we didn’t have much money and we had to ask for loans to allow him to pursue his dream. Nothing was easy during that time, but he turned all these adversities into positive aspects and had an incredible career.

Despite being almost 38 years old, she still loves to compete.

I don’t know how long his career will last, but enjoy it until the end,” said the father of the 24-time Grand Slam champion.
