Jake Paul has made a name for himself in the boxing ring but Floyd Mayweather isn’t too impressed with the influencer.
Whether you love him or hate him, ‘The Problem Child’ has been one of the biggest names in the sport over the past few years. His ability to keep people interested and promote his fights is nothing short of exceptional, but not everybody is impressed by the controversial YouTuber.
Despite competing in influencer boxing in the past, Floyd Mayweather didn’t have much nice to say about Jake Paul’s recent meeting with Mike Tyson.
“I don’t really know where to go with this subject,” Mayweather said regarding the Paul vs. Tyson affair. “Because if I say something, I’m going to get backlash.”
“No matter what I say, it’s always, it’s not right. Well, basically, when you’re watching boxing for free, you can have millions and millions and millions, hundreds of millions of views.”
“But when you’re watching Floyd Mayweather, you have to pay. I do pay-per-view numbers. Check the record.”
Thinking back to his time spent in the ring with Logan Paul, Mayweather hit out at his former opponent for his style of fighting.
“Me and Logan, we done an exhibition. That’s why he moved to WWE because he wanted to hold me the whole night.”
“He wanted to hold on, he wanted to wrestle.”

At almost 50 years old, Floyd Mayweather insists that his ability in the ring is still above many who are still competing to their best.
Discussing a potential fight against Jake Paul, Mayweather claimed it would still be a comfortable night out for him.
“Easy. Easy,” Mayweather stated about a possible clash with Jake Paul. “Too easy. Too easy. At 48 [it’s still] too easy.”
