Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald indicated on Tuesday that more additions could be coming to the coaching staff, and it looks like another New Orleans Saints assistant is being eyed by Seattle.

Veteran NFL assistant Rick Dennison, who has won three Super Bowls with the Denver Broncos, is slated to be interviewed by the Seahawks for an unspecified role. The Saints granted Seattle permission to speak with Dennison, who’s technically still under contract with the Saints while new head coach Kellen Moore has yet to build his staff.

Dennison was most recently the Saints’ Senior Offensive Assistant. He’s worked alongside new Seattle offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak in New Orleans, as well as the Minnesota Vikings and Denver Broncos. Of course, Dennison has deeper ties with Klint’s dad, Gary Kubiak, dating back to when they were teammates on the 1980s Broncos.

In his 30 years as an NFL coach, Dennison has worn many hats, including special teams coordinator on the 1990s Broncos teams that won two straight Super Bowls, offensive coordinator for the Houston Texans and the Super Bowl-winning Broncos in 2015, offensive line coach for the Broncos, New York Jets, and Minnesota Vikings, as well as run game coordinator.

Macdonald noted that anyone who is currently on Seattle’s staff is “will be here,” which indicates no one else is expected to be let go if/when new coaches are brought on board in the coming days.
