Since joining the Philadelphia Eagles ahead of the 2024-25 NFL season, Barkley has been as selfless as someone who rushed for over 2,000 yards in a season can be. Not only did he sacrifice several touchdowns to Jalen Hurts and the dominant “Tush Push,” but on multiple occasions late in the season gave up the opportunity to pad stats in the best interest of the team. His reward was the AP Offensive Player of the Year award. But despite the phenomenal year, Barkley didn’t get a single first place MVP vote, and seems he might be a bit regretful.
“It was an opportunity to imprint my name in football history. Might not ever get an opportunity like that again,” he said.
“But at the end of the day I don’t care for putting the team at risk.”
Which brings us to today’s quiz. The AP has awarded its Offensive Player of the Year Award to the NFL’s most outstanding offensive player since 1972. How many of the NFL OPOYs can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
