Magic Sign Ethan Thompson To Two Way Deal

The Orlando Magic have signed free agent guard Ethan Thompson to a two-way contract.

Thompson has played and started in 14 games during the regular season with Osceola of the NBA G League, averaging 17.7 ppg., 5.0 rpg., 3.1 apg. and 1.07 stlpg. in 34.1 minpg. He also appeared in 16 games (15 starts) with Osceola during the NBA G League Tip-off Tournament, averaging 16.8 ppg., 4.4 rpg., 2.3 apg. and 1.44 stlpg. in 32.1 minpg.

Undrafted by an NBA franchise, Thompson has appeared in 110 career NBA G League regular season games (101 starts) with Windy City, Mexico City and Osceola, averaging 17.0 ppg., 4.6 rpg., 3.6 apg. and 1.25 stlpg. in 32.9 minpg., while shooting .850 (300-353) from the free throw line. He was named to the 2023-24 All-NBA G League Third Team after averaging 22.8 ppg., 5.1 apg., 4.5 rpg. and 1.45 stlpg. in 37.2 minpg. in 33 games (all starts) with Mexico City.
