After a legendary postseason run, the Polar Bear is back in Queens. The New York Mets and Pete Alonso have reportedly agreed on a two-year, $54 million contract with an opt-out for Alonso after the 2025 season.
Alonso has spent his entire six-year career with the Mets, and after (by his standards) a bit of a down 2024 regular season, helped get the Mets to the National League Championship Series with a number of clutch hits. The 2019 National League Rookie of the Year also been incredibly durable, playing in at least 150 games every season except the COVID-shortened 2020 — mashing 226 home runs and racking up 586 RBIs.
With that being said, how many of the 50 MLB players with three or more 40 home run seasons can you name in six minutes?
Good luck!
