The Cincinnati Open will be a two-week affair in 2025, and the draws will be bigger than ever.
The tournament will take place over 14 days – up from nine – to account for 96- player draws for both men and weomen. Held from Tuesday, Aug. 5 through Monday, Aug. 18 and will increase from 16 to 24 sessions, and feature both men’s and women’s singles finals on a Monday.
“We view the growth of the Cincinnati Open as a true transformation of the event that will elevate the experience for our fans, players and partners,” said Tournament Director Bob Moran in a statement provided by the tolurnament. “The added days will help players compete at their peak due to additional rest between matches and will give our fans more opportunities to see the world’s top tennis talent in more matches, practices and special experiences across more days on-site.”

More details on this year’s Cincinnati Open:
Qualifying rounds will be played on Tuesday, Aug. 5 and Wednesday, Aug. 6, featuring 48 players in both men’s and women’s fields. Twelve men and women will advance to the main draw.
Main draw play will begin Thursday, Aug. 7. There will be 32 seeded players in the men’s and women’s draws, each with a first-round bye. The top-ranked players in the tournament will take to the courts during the first weekend of play, Aug. 9 and 10, during the second round.
Men’s and women’s quarterfinals will round out the middle of the Cincinnati Open on Thursday, Aug. 14 and Friday, Aug. 15. The men will split the quarterfinals over both days while the women play all matches on Aug. 15.
The final days of the tournament will feature the men’s semifinal matches on Saturday, Aug. 16, and the women’s semifinals on Sunday, Aug. 17. Both singles championship matches will be played on Monday, Aug. 18.
The doubles events will have staggered starts, with women’s doubles beginning Thursday, Aug 7, and men’s doubles on Monday, Aug 11. Both doubles finals will be played on Sunday, Aug 17.
