Arsenal host Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday (4.30pm GMT) in a meeting of the top teams who led the table in 2023/24.

The game is the last for both sides before the January transfer window closes on Monday, so team selections could be telling.

The Gunners, who finished second to the Cityzens last season, had a pre-match doubt over first-choice goalkeeper David Raya.

You can follow the action with 101GreatGoals.com’s live updates from Arsenal vs Man City, and we have you covered for the line-ups, team news and confirmed starting sides.

Arsenal lineup vs Manchester City

Arsenal make seven changes to their starting side from the 2-1 win at Girona that concluded their successful league phase campaign in the Champions League.

First-choice goalkeeper Raya and captain Martin Odegaard are among those to start, while key creative presence Bukayo Saka remains among their absentees, having sustained a long-term hamstring at the end of December.

Arsenal starting XI: Raya, Lewis-Skelly, Gabriel, Saliba, Timber, Rice, Partey, Odegaard, Trossard, Havertz, Martinelli

Subs: Neto, Tierney, Kiwior, Zinchenko, Jorginho, Merino, Sterling, Calafiori, Nwaneri

Man City lineup vs Arsenal

There is no place in City’s matchday squad for goalkeeper Ederson, who is replaced by Stefan Ortega.

John Stones starts in central defence in place of new signing Abdukodir Khusanov, who made an uncertain debut in their 3-1 home win over Chelsea on January 25, in central defence.

Winger Savinho is rewarded with a starting place for his game-changing impact in the 3-1 Champions League win over Club Brugge on Wednesday.

Man City starting XI: Ortega, Nunes, Stones, Akanji, Gvardiol, Silva, Kovacic, Savinho, Foden, Haaland, Marmoush.

Subs: Carson, Grealish, De Bruyne, Gundogan, Reis, Khusanov, O’Reilly, Lewis, McAtee.
