The list today goes until 1954 and includes Scuderia car quality as analysis factor for the first time since I started. So, if a driver does better than all their partners he will up more in the ranking than a somewhat better team second driver. I balanced it the as the performance vs other teams drivers is also important. I reduced Qualifying impact to 1/3, Im testing.
Now I will show the 5 best driver seasons since 1950 until 1954 by my model:
1.Juan Manuel Fangio 1954: 48,5 (He did much better than partners and was champion) 2.Alberto Ascari 1952: 45,6 (He was almost invincible, winning all races except 1) 3.Alberto Ascari 1953: 38,4 4.Juan Manuel Fangio 1951: 36,7 5.Nino Farina 1950: 34,1 6.Juan Manuel Fangio 1953: 33,2 7.Luigi Fagioli 1950: 32,1 8.Juan Manuel Fangio 1950: 31,2 9.Alberto Ascari 1951: 30,5 10.Louis Rosier 1950: 29,7 (His Talbot Lago car was bad)
