Team Canada presented by IGA’s Davis Cup 1st round Qualifier against Hungary will be livestreamed by CBC Sports and broadcast live by TVA Sports in French. The tie, set to take place on February 1 and 2 at IGA Stadium in Montréal, will determine which nation advances to the second round of Davis Cup Qualifiers.
“We are thrilled to once again partner with TVA Sports and CBC Sports for the presentation of this Davis Cup tie in Montréal,” said Tournament Director Valérie Tétreault. “Broadcasting this prestigious competition allows us to strengthen Canada’s Davis Cup tradition while promoting the sport nationwide. We’re also excited that fans will have another opportunity to watch some of the country’s best players compete in what promises to be an exciting qualifying matchup.”
The Canadian team features Gabriel Diallo, Alexis Galarneau, Liam Draxl, Vasek Pospisil, and Cleeve Harper, under the leadership of Captain Frank Dancevic. Team Hungary will rely on Fabian Marozan, Marton Fucsovics, Peter Fajta, Mate Valkusz, and Adam Jilly, led by team captain Kornel Bardocz.

The tie begins Saturday at 1:00 p.m. ET, with both teams vying for a spot in September’s 2nd round of Qualifiers and a chance to compete in the Davis Cup Finals in November. TVA Sports subscribers can watch the live coverage on the main channel, while all Canadian fans can enjoy free livestreaming of the matches on CBC Sports digital platforms, including CBC Gem and cbcsports.ca.
The official draw for the tie will take place on Friday and will determine the weekend’s matchups. All matches will be played in a best-of-three-sets format.
