Thanks to the Coles Little Athletics Community Fund – Round 9 saw 43 Little Athletics Centres shared in $150,000 worth of sports equipment grants.
Including new equipment, ranging from safety equipment like first aid kits to volunteering aids such as laptops and trolleys as well as essential athletics equipment including hurdles, high jump mats, discuses and shot puts.
The Coles Little Athletics Community Fund was made possible from money raised through the annual Coles Little Athletics Banana A-Peel which raises funds for grassroots Little Athletics Centres from the sales of bananas at Coles during the week of Australian Banana Week.
