The Baltimore Ravens took benefit of a balanced assault on offense and two Russell Wilson turnovers to take down the Pittsburgh Steelers, 34-17, and preserve their AFC North hopes alive.

With the win, the Ravens clinch a postseason berth for the sixth time within the final seven seasons.

Baltimore had 418 whole yards and went 3-of-5 within the purple zone.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson was 15-of-23 for 207 yards with three TDs and one interception. WR Zay Flowers led the workforce with 100 receiving yards. This 49-yard strike to Flowers on third down gave Baltimore an important first down up 31-17 with round eight minutes remaining within the sport.

After shedding eight of the final 9 and 4 in a row to Pittsburgh, Saturday’s win confirmed what the Ravens are able to when either side of the ball are clicking. The one draw back for the Ravens got here when RB Justice Hill exited the sport as a consequence of a concussion after touchdown arduous on his head on the finish of a 25-yard run within the second quarter. Relying on when Hill can return, Henry may have an elevated workload because the Ravens pursue the division title.

Whereas Steelers QB Russell Wilson was strong with 217 passing yards and two TDs, a pair of turnovers from Wilson proved expensive. Along with the pick-six, Ravens security Ar’Darius Washington knocked the ball free from Wilson contained in the five-yard line, which gave the ball again to Baltimore with the sport tied, 7-7, early within the second quarter.

After failing to attain a TD of their 18-16 win over the Ravens in Week 11, it was the turnovers that have been extra troublesome for Pittsburgh on Saturday.

The Steelers (10-5) play a pair of dwelling video games in opposition to the Kansas Metropolis Chiefs on Christmas Day and the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 18. The Ravens (10-5) journey to Houston to face the Texans on Christmas Day and end at dwelling in opposition to the Cleveland Browns.

With Pittsburgh and Baltimore tied atop the AFC North, the stakes are excessive as solely two video games are remaining for each groups and home-field benefit is on the road for the division winner on Tremendous Wild Card Weekend.
