Khalil Rountree Jr. got here up quick in his first title shot at UFC 307, shedding to champion Alex Pereira late within the fourth spherical.  Rountree Jr. had exhibiting.  The title bout earned ‘Battle of the Night time’ honors.

However I now know what I’m able to,” Rountree Jr. wrote on Instagram.

“Brazil, you guys have a robust champion, be proud. I’ll take time to heal from this, I’ll be again even higher, it’s inevitable,” Rountree Jr. continued.  “I’m grateful. By no means surrender on your self, at all times combat arduous, uplift your communities and discover methods to take advantage of out of life.”
