The second week of the 2024 NFL season is nearly within the books, with the one showdown left to shut it out being the Monday Night time Soccer sport that can see the Atlanta Falcons tackle the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Monetary Discipline.

The Eagles enter the matchup with the chance to take sole possession of first place within the NFC East, with the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Commanders every already sporting a loss.

In the meantime the Falcons come into the sport trying to keep out of the basement of the NFC South, which is a scary place to be since a loss would see the Falcons tied with the 0-2 Carolina Panthers.

Sadly for Atlanta, they arrive into the sport as 5.5 level underdogs at FanDuel Sportsbook. If the Falcons hope to have any probability towards the Eagles, they’ll want way more out of their offense than they acquired in Week 1 once they appeared completely horrific towards the Pittsburgh Steelers. Add in that Jalen Hurts and the Eagles offense, even with out A.J. Brown, current a a lot better risk to the Falcons than Justin Fields did in Week 1, and it’s tough to think about the Falcons overlaying the unfold, so take the Eagles.

The query then turns into whether or not or not the 2 groups will break the 45.5 factors on the over/underneath, and returning to how poorly the Atlanta offense struggled within the season opener, that would appear to make the underneath the protected wager.

Followers can tune in to observe the sport on ESPN or NFL+ at 8:15 ET/5:15 PT.
