The Philadelphia Phillies and Tampa Bay Rays performed a fully bonkers backside of the eighth inning on Tuesday evening that featured a bad-luck bounce, a bench-clearing brawl and 5 runs.
Issues began off with Phillies second baseman Bryson Stott grounding out on what could be one of many worst dangerous luck performs of the season.
Stott appeared to have ripped a floor ball down the appropriate subject line that was going to be a straightforward further base hit. The one downside? It hit first base umpire John Bacon and bounced proper to first baseman Yandy Diaz who simply stepped on the bottom for an out.
