McGregor has not competed since July 2021 when he broke his leg in a combat vs. Dustin Poirier, although he’s been aligned with Michael Chandler for a matchup since early 2023. The 2 have been scheduled to combat June 29 at UFC 303, however McGregor withdrew as a result of a toe damage.
Since his withdrawal, McGregor has voiced eagerness to return. It’s unclear if the damage or one thing is else is the present cause for the delayed comeback.
