The San Francisco 49ers are reportedly brushing apart commerce calls about large receiver Brandon Aiyuk — no less than for now.
As NFL Community’s Mike Garafolo reported on Tuesday, the 26-year-old pass-catcher requested a commerce as the 2 sides did not agree on a contract extension.
Nonetheless, whereas Aiyuk’s request for a commerce would not come as a significant shock after the lengthy negotiations, the 49ers have reportedly been steadfast of their response to commerce calls from across the league.
In line with ESPN’s Adam Schefter, groups which have contacted San Francisco with commerce curiosity for Aiyuk are being instructed the franchise has “no intention” of shifting him.
