The Jets added some depth on the line of defense on Thursday, signing defensive finish Takk McKinley.
McKinley, 28, took half within the Jets’ minicamp this week as a tryout participant and did sufficient to earn a contract.
McKinley was a first-round choose by the Falcons in 2017.
Jets defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich was Atlanta’s linebackers coach on the time.
McKinley stayed with the crew till November 2020 when he was waived.
He performed 11 video games for the Browns in 2021 and 4 video games for the Rams in 2022.
