The Chicago Bears haven’t been shy about bringing in former Seattle Seahawks this offseason, and that features the entrance workplace.
On Monday the Bears introduced a slew of entrance workplace hires, together with the addition of D.J. Hord as director of professional scouting.
Hord beforehand spent seven seasons with the Seahawks from 2016 till 2023. A former Notre Dame and Northern Iowa extensive receiver, Hord’s served as a professional scouting intern in Seattle again in 2017, then grew to become a professional personnel scout from 2019 via 2022. Final season was Hord’s first (and solely) season as assistant director of professional personnel.
As described within the Seahawks’ 2023 media information, Hord “assisted within the scouting of future opponents, coordinated free agent visits and tryouts, and monitored NFL transactions.”
