American golfer Grayson Murray, a two-time winner on the PGA Tour, has died on the age of 30.
Murray’s dying was introduced by the PGA Tour a day after he withdrew in the course of the second spherical of the Charles Schwab Problem in Texas.
PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan stated in an announcement: “We had been devastated to be taught – and are heartbroken to share – that PGA Tour participant Grayson Murray handed away this morning. I’m perplexed.
“The PGA Tour is a household and if you lose a member of your loved ones, you’re by no means the identical. We mourn Grayson and pray for consolation for his family members.”
Murray received the Sony Open in Hawaii in January, having claimed his maiden PGA Tour success on the 2017 Barbasol Championship in Kentucky.
FEELING UNWELL
He pulled out of the continuing Charles Schwab Problem on Friday after finishing 16 holes and reportedly telling enjoying companions he felt unwell.
Commissioner Monahan stated the event at Colonial Nation Membership in Fort Value would proceed, with grief counsellors out there on the venue.
“I reached out to Grayson’s dad and mom to supply our deepest condolences and through that dialog, they requested that we proceed with event play,” he stated.
“They had been adamant that Grayson would need us to take action. As troublesome as will probably be, we need to respect their needs.”
English golfer Luke Donald was amongst these to pay tribute to Murray.
