The New York Giants have signed a former Professional Bowl vast receiver.

Allen Robinson has agreed to a take care of the Giants, the crew introduced on Thursday.

Robinson performed in all 17 video games in his lone season with the Pittsburgh Steelers final 12 months. He was not very productive, nonetheless, partially due to the poor play the crew bought from the quarterback place. Robinson had simply 34 catches for 280 yards and no touchdowns. The Steelers lower him in March.

The Giants are Robinson’s fifth crew in 11 NFL seasons. He has three 1,000-yard seasons in his profession, two of which got here with the Chicago Bears in 2019 and 2020.

Robinson made the Professional Bowl as a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2015. He had 80 catches for 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns that season.

Robinson, 30, will not be going to be a No. 1 receiving choice at this level in his profession. He’s extra of a depth signing for the Giants, who’re hoping rookie first-round decide Malik Nabers will lastly give them the true possession receiver they’ve lacked in recent times.
