Former UFC light-weight title challenger and welterweight fan favourite Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone was rushed into surgical procedure earlier this week after struggling an damage whereas training driving a bull.

Cerrone was schedule to aim to experience Dana White’s bull “Twisted Metal” at Skilled Bull Riders (PBR) “Unleash The Beast” occasion on Could 18 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.  As a substitute, Cerrone will probably be recovering from surgical procedure.

“As y’all know I used to be set to experience Dana White’s ‘Twisted Metal’ on the PBR World Finals on Could 18,” Cerrone wrote on Instagram. “I used to be simply rushed into surgical procedure with 100-percent biceps tear off the bone! Guess you mess with the bull you typically get the horns. This isn’t the tip. I’ll rehab and get again after it.”

In a followup put up, Cerrone defined that UFC CEO Dana White lined him up with a surgeon who makes a speciality of full bicep tears.

‘Effectively if y’all wish to see what occurred to the one arm man, that is it. Now if you happen to’re thinkin that is it, and ol’ cowboy is down and out— no sir. @danawhite hooked me up with probably the greatest surgeons for a full bicep tear and provides it six-eight weeks and with assist from @transcendHrt and I’ll be again at it,” Cerrone wrote.

White launched an announcement about Cerrone’s damage and thought “Cowboy” making an attempt to experience his bull was in all probability not the very best concept from the start.

“I believed this was a nasty concept for Cowboy from the beginning,” White stated in an announcement supplied to MMAmania.com. “Twisted Metal is the nastiest bull within the PBR. He’s bucked 90-percent of his riders. Let’s go away it to the professionals on the PBR World Finals in Arlington.”
