“We had six video games to go and Fulham was a really huge one. We confirmed a response after some disappointing video games,” Van Dijk contiued.

“We did our job, we received. That’s what it’s all about. It was a great efficiency. Now it’s time to recuperate. We go once more in three days, huge sport, Merseyside derby.

“We need to win it. That’s the mindset we all the time have. They are going to have that as nicely. Now we have to recuperate and take accountability to be prepared for Wednesday.

“It’s demanding for all of us. However we’ve got that accountability to do every part in our energy to be prepared for it. We’ll have a really mild coaching session on Tuesday however a tactical one.”
