As the countdown to the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 Final continues, excitement is building not only for the clash between Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain but also for a spectacle that goes far beyond soccer. This year’s finale, set to take place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, promises to deliver a show both on and off the pitch. Fans across the globe have one question on their minds: Who’s performing at the FIFA Club World Cup Halftime Show?

The answer is finally out—and it’s as dazzling as the game itself.

The 2025 edition of the Club World Cup is a historic one. Expanded to 32 teams and hosted in the United States, it has taken cues from North America’s most iconic sporting event: the NFL Super Bowl. And just like the Super Bowl, this final comes complete with a star-studded halftime show designed to thrill fans around the world.

“The innovative stage design we created for MetLife Stadium both preserves the integrity of the pitch and promises to deliver the kind of performances our global audience will never forget,” said Hugh Evans, CEO of Global Citizen, in an interview with Rolling Stone. “By building our platform high in the stands, we ensured that the newly installed natural grass remains untouched while delivering an unforgettable show.”

To make the vision a reality, Global Citizen, the organization behind the production, brought in 40,000 pounds of stage materials, 16 million LED pixels, and a crew of 100 to transform the upper stands into a musical fortress—all without touching the field.

The big reveal: Three global superstars take the stage

Now, the secret is out. Three music megastars will light up MetLife on Sunday, July 13, during the 15-minute halftime show:

J Balvin – The “Prince of Reggaeton” from Colombia and one of the most-streamed Latin artists in history.Doja Cat – American rap-pop sensation and cultural icon, known for her electrifying performances and bold visuals.Tems – Grammy-winning Nigerian singer-songwriter whose soulful fusion of Afrobeat and R&B has made her a rising global voice.

Each of these artists brings their own unique style—and their own continent—to the performance, reflecting the international spirit of the Club World Cup.

“This event is bigger than a simple halftime show – it’s a moment to bring the world together through music and football to support education for children everywhere,” said J Balvin in a statement to Rolling Stone.

“I’m proud to represent America on this unique stage that will bring people from all corners of the world together,” added Doja Cat. “I know the energy on Sunday at MetLife is going to be unreal.”

When and how to watch

The halftime show is expected to kick off around 3:50 PM (ET), midway through the final match that begins at 3:00 PM (ET). Fans around the world can watch the show and the match live and for free via the DAZN app or DAZN.com, available on smart TVs, phones, tablets, and game consoles.

No subscription is needed to access the show—just an email and a free account.
