Liverpool could make a bid for Real Madrid forward Rodrygo in the summer transfer window, according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri. The reporter has claimed on X that should Luis Diaz leave the Premier League champions, then the Reds would try to get a deal done with Rodrygo.
Tavolieri wrote on X: “Luis Diaz’s situation could influence Liverpool’s approach in the market.
“While Rodrygo (as explained on Saturday) made Premier League his priority despite real Al Nassr approach,
“#LFC could move for the Brazilian & compete w/Arsenal if they end up losing Diaz — whom they are keen to keep yet. One to watch. #mercato #AFC”
While Rodrygo has been an influential figure at Madrid over the years, he did not always play regularly under Carlo Ancelotti last season. New manager Xabi Alonso has also consistently left the Brazilian star out of the starting line-up at the ongoing 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
